Computer Laboratory Manager/Teacher

*     Organized, created, published and maintained high school web presence; created text and visual content, computer graphics and photo illustrations.

*    Since 1993 took active role in establishing networked computer laboratory. Maintained and managed laboratory preventing vandalism and misuse of over 150 computers. 

*     Installed and used dozens of PC based applications. Trained hundreds of teenagers and adults to use computers earning a reputation of a patient teacher. Used my people management and customer service skills providing support to thousands of laboratory visitors.

*    Organized, mentored and lead computer-based online learning classes. Organized and led students clubs and events: Crafts Club exhibits and sales, field trips, Web Publishers Club “conferences.” 

*    Taught students to use iterative principles of web publishing, including brainstorming, charts and card sorting techniques.

*    Used my language skills to serve as an interpreter for parents and students speaking Polish, Russian and Lithuanian languages.
